How do I apply the default transitions between multiple contiguous pictures at the same time on the same track in Premiere Elements 7?

Have no idea, but try, select track first, Page up or down followed by Ctrl+D for video and Ctrl+Shift+D.

Hi Bruce,
Select all the clips from the sequence that you want to apply the transition (assuming that it’s the same transition that you want to apply) and hit command>T or select Sequence from the menu>Apply default transition. You can change the default by right clicking a transition in the effects bin and choosing>Make default transition.

Sounds like you have the solution…but I’m not familiar with “command>T” or how to find/select “Sequence” from the menu. I looked in all the drop-down menus along the top tool bar and don’t see them there. Sorry to be a nuisance, but could you give me some more detail on how to find those?

Sorry Bruce, I should preface this by saying I’m using APP 5.5 with a FCP keyboard command set from the keyboard layout. That and I use a Mac so that might account for some differences. That said, I can’t say why you don’t have ‘sequence’ as a menu item on your menu bar. You might try Control>D if you’re a PC user after highlighting adjoining clips. Also be sure that these clips have handles.
