    Hey Guys,

Since the layout changed the searches have been behaving differently, yes/no? Used to be when I searched while in a forum, the default was that only that forum was searched. Now, when I search, I have to manually choose my forum every time (eg, After Effects) or I get results from EVERY forum. Or is this just me?
Is there a preference I can change to affect this?
Also, is there a way to always search the archives etc, rather than having to click all those boxes and time ranges EVERY time I do a search?

I did try searching for something about “defaults” and “searches” etc, but no luck.

    Thanks,
    Scott.

I’ve got another question about searches:

How does one search for a two-word phase without getting occurrances of either of the words alone? In the FCP forum I searched for “capture now” in quotes and not in quotes and in both cases I got tons of hits but almost none included the two words together.

    Thanks.
