Default font selection in Motion 4
Once, I used a LiveType font in a Motion 4 project. Now, no matter what fonts I’ve used in future projects, Motion always has that LiveType font as the default one, and I have to schlep through all the fonts to find one that I can actually see what I’m doing on.
Any ideas on how to set/reset this?

Select a new font before you start typing. It will now be the default.

That’s what I do. But next time I start up Motion, and select text tool, it’s chosen the LiveFont “Nitro” for me. And the dropdown list of fonts in the HUD are all LiveFonts.
Grrr.

Is there somewhere I can go to trash the Motion pref file? Can’t find it anywhere.

You need to select the text, go to the Text Inspector, Format pane, and change the Collection.

Ah, thanks. I was dragging the correct font on from the Library. A pain. Thanks again.
