    Having mind loss. Can anyone please help? How do I set the default EXPORT settings to NTSC DV 48k? Since upgrading to FCP5 the export DEFAULT seems to be H.264. I keep changing it by exporting with Quicktime Conversion and selection NTSC. Is there a defaut setting that I can change? Can’t find it in User Settings. All my video is NTSC 48 straight in from camera and not H.264. I would think it would just read session settings and output the same wayThank you.

    Export using File/Export/QuickTime Movie… then leave it at “current settings” and make it self contained and you have a QT file which is lossless. The QT Conversion command will recompress it in all cases even if not changing the original codec of the material, so it’s not as clean…

    Make sure your camera is set to NTSC it could do the trick.
