I have a question that has been nagging me for a while, and was wondering if someone here might be able to answer.

Every once in a while I accidentally will capture 16 tracks of audio, if I forget to manually set the capture tool to capture only 1 or 2 tracks of audio. I know that if I catch my mistake, I can change the clip setting before batch capturing.

Is there a way to set the tool to always capture 2 or 4 tracks of audio? I have looked through the settings and have seen nothing that appears to allow someone to do this. Its really not that big of a deal, more of a nuisance than anything. Just thought I’d ask.

    Thanks,
    angela

If you get Preference Manager, a free app from https://www.Digital.Rebellion.com, you can store one or more sets of preferences that have things set way you like. So, before starting a new project, you can restore a set of preferences that you’ve saved as Angelas Prefs and bingo, it’s ready to go, just as you like.

The alternative is to set preference from scratch every time you start anew. I prefer using Preference Manager myself, and I highly recommend it..

    Hi Angela,
You can duplicate your “Device Control Preset” and assign the number of channel that you want your card capture.
    Cheers,
