    DecklinkSP installation problem

    Trying to install a new DecklinkSP card in a Dual 2.3 GHz G5. I have tried the card in slot two and slot three. The card does not show up in the system profiler. When I click on the Blackmagic software it displays hardware not found. Looking for any suggestions on how to solve this.

    Karl,

    I’m pretty sure it needs to go in slot 3 or slot 4. That’s where my Extreme card has to go in any case. Not sure why your card doesn’t show up however.

    I had this problem too once. Try this. First delete all Black Magic and Decklink files using the find function on your computer. Restart then run the Decklink software installer.
