Decklink support for Cineform Prospect HD on WinXP
Hi there,
We are looking at how to get up and running with the Panasonic HVX-200 on our Premiere Pro 2 system (PAL).
It seems that Cineform has a working 3rd party solution ‘Prospect HD’ which works with realtime SDI monitoring for AJA Xena cards.-Question, will Decklink cards ever support the Cineform codec? if so when? (best guess)
It is also possible that there may be another solution that I am unaware of – please let me know if that’s the case.

I would contact Cineform directly – they need imput from users about hardware etc. There are rumors of Decklink support as well as FCP support- don’t know if/when. The Xena cards work great with Cineform by the way.
The Cineform codecs are excellent and I’m can’t wait for Mac/FCP support myself.

Lance I talked to Cineform reps at NAB. I did not get this would be forthcoming any time soon. Has this changed?

Hi, I did contact Cineform, they said there aren’t any current plans for Decklink on PC, but pushed the Aja Xena solution… I gather from what they said that it wouldn’t be impossible on Decklink architecture – just very time consuming and would require assistance of Blackmagic etc – so if anyone from BM is watching how about it?
