Decklink studioHD HDMI Audio
Hello,
I recently bought a Decklink StudioHD so I can monitor through the HDMI output and still have the component in/outs.
Everything seemed to work fine, but the audio suddenly stopped outputting through the HDMI. I hadn’t changed any settings or turned off the computer. I left the system for 20 minutes and the audio wasn’t outputting when I came back.
The audio only came back after I’d restarted the computer several times, only to disappear again the next time I restarted the computer.Has anyone had a similar experience?
I’m running a macpro 2.66 with 4 gigs ram, OSX 10.4.10 with FCP 5.1.4, and decklinks 6.3 drivers.
Thanxps. i contacted BMD support and they’re looking into the problem, i’m just wondering if others have had similar experiences and have found ways to solve them.

I received a reply from BMD support advicing me to put the computer to sleep when the audio disconnects, and that the issue should be fixed soon in the 6.4 drivers as they are adding broader HDMI support.

I have been having a similar problem with Intensity Pro. See my post below.
I haven’t had a response from support yet but I imagine the resopnse will be the same.
