Decklink Studio – no Video Playback in Pal land?
Hello.
Just got a Blackmagic Studio card for my Mac Pro.
Only problem is there no preset for “Video Playback” in FCP 7. I get only “none” and “Digital Cinema Desktop Preview – Main”. Neither of which of course works with my SDI output to an FSI monitor.
Sequence Preset: Apple Prores 422 PAL 48 Khz
Capture Preset: Blackmagic PAL 10 bit （why there is no standard Prores 422 preset here, but rather only HQ is beyond me)
Device Control Preset: Blackmagic PAL 25Anyone know what I need to do to get this silly thing to work?

Use my Blackmagic Studio card all the time for NTSC and PAL projects.
You haven’t given much useful info to help you.
I would try uninstalling the driver (using the uninstaller app). Download the latest driver from the BMD website and try installing again. If you aren’t seeing Blackmagic as an output choice, something is wrong.
