    Decklink studio & Matrox MXO

    Hi all,

    Because the serial rs 242 control from my Decklink studio Card stopped working (I tried reseating and other decks and cables) I wonder:
    Would it be possible to use the decklink for video capture and a Matrox
    MXO for deck control? Would that give me original timecode in my
    captured clips?

    Never mind,

    The MXO has no RS 242.

    Hi Ben,

    Please contact Blackmagic Support for help with your RS-422 connection. All DeckLink cards have 3 year warranties so if the port is defective, they’ll be able to swap out the card for you as the original DeckLink Studio was release less than 3 years ago.
