Decklink studio 4k not supporting 23.98??
A friend just bought and installed a decklink studio 4k without noticing that it apparently does not support 720p 23.98 which is the format he shoots EVERYTHING in. He is using older (5-6 years old) Panasonic EFP cameras shooting on P2 cards.
In searching the recesses of my ageing mind I seem to remember there being some vodoo on how the old P2 cameras stored 24p stuff. as in maybe they actually store 60 fps or something? I know we ran into that with some cannon cameras?
Any ideas on what I can tell him to try to get is footage to display correctly on the monitor. (Full frame, no masking)?

720p50, 720p59.94, 720p60
https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/decklink/techspecs/W-DLK-12Now, Panasonic cameras can shoot 720p 23.98…I’ve done this lots. But you monitor…send out…a 720p60 signal to the monitor. I know how to do this in FCP 7…what NLE are you running?
