DECKLINK SP and FIREWIRE input capture

Normally using Blackmagic 8 bit PAL to capture from D9 format master tapes, I now have a large batch of MiniDV PAL tapes to capture and edit. I shall be using firewire to input from a camcorder or DV deck.Could someone advise on settings to use for capture, sequence and monitoring.Using Tiger and FCP5 with latest Decklink drivers.
    Thanks.

    Hi John,

Capture you clips using Apple’s Firewire easy setup. This is over firewire.

After capturing, switch to our “Blackmagic PAL/NTSC – DV” easy setup, create a new sequence and drop your captured clips on that. This easy setup will also allow you to monitor off the DeckLink cards.
