    Decklink SP ref sync to UVW-1800

    just got this card, will be upgrading my RAM later today (going to 2GB), but still can’t get “good” reference sync to/from my deck. i’ve used the method in the Decklink manual as outlined for a 1400, and this method at least gets the “No REF!” off the 1800 screen, but now my monitor does a vertical roll.

    any suggestions? the monitor is my old Commodore 1084 (yes, low budget TV at it’s finest!) and has worked great with my Toaster and then my PC running Speed Razor.

    Hi Tad
    you should try this:

    insert you Y OUT (to deck) cable from declink Card into your first REFERENCE input at the back panel of your Betacam Recorder and then use a short cable to reconnect second REFERENCE input/output with Y-IN of your Betacam. This should solve your problem while RECORDING to Betamcam.
