Hi! I’m running a Decklink SP with the 5.3.1 drivers on an XP Pro Sp2 system running Premiere Pro 1.5 with all the latest updates. I was right in the middle of an edit and the decklink card seems to have gone crazy. It’s almost acting like it’s lost sync, the video has gone to black and white and it’s so wavy that you can just barely see the output at all. I’ve got it wired to a UVW-1800 component in and out with the genlock on the composite out… and I’ve checked the composite out with a monitor and it seems ok… not that this means anything.

I tried rolling back the system to the 5.2.2 drivers to see if this might be a conflict between my system and the new set but I still end up with the same problems. I’m in a crunch and need to get this spot to tape… does anyone have any suggestions or ideas?

    Thanks

    Matt

    Matt,

Had the same thing happen to me. You may want to shut down your system, pull your SDI cables and restart the system, then shut it downa again and plug eveything back in and restart.

Thanks! That seems to have corrected the problem, at least for now. It’s just strange because this system has run rock solid since I built it a couple of months ago… guess I just had a gremlin in the system.
