HI I have a decklink SP card the PCI-33/66 version that I have just instaled in my new machine with Premiere Pro ( my old discreet edit* finaly died )
I can capture perfectly in YUV from our J30 (PAL) but can not see the output on my component monitor ( cant even see the desktop on the component monitor )

also i can not seem to get the output to work from the display settings of the computer , it shows it as being monitor 3 but nothing comes out ( i have 2 17″ lcds on the Graphics card )

we have a intel D975XBX2 mother card with 4gb of on board ram, and a 500gig huge harddrive via scsi ( is this mother board ok for the decklink sp card?? ) is says on the blackmagic website that the D975XBX is ok??

any ideas as to why i cant see the video

    regards
    Mark

Make sure you have the correct output settings in both the decklink and display control panels

    >a 500gig huge harddrive via scsi< You only have one harddrive?

    when you say

“”Make sure you have the correct output settings in both the decklink and display control panels””

the decklink is set toy SDI- y – r-y – b-y, there are not settings in display control panel except the screen size which is 720 x 576

on the y out all I have is noise (like RF off air noise )

the hard drive is a Huge systems 500gig

    any ideas

    regards

Are you using a extension cable or adapters on the output of the BOC
