DeckLink SP
I’m about to start a Beta SP project and I’m looking at the DeckLink SP card for my PCI-X G5 and Final Cut . Can I use the SDI output on the card to go back out to a digibeta deck once I’m done? Also can I take the component output of a downconverted DV output from a Sony HDV camcorder into this card ? Any other method of taking HDV into the card?

Yes you can.

If this is refering to the down converted output from the component output of the camera, then it’s a yes. However, you will have to put the audio outputs through a levels converter as the card expects a +4dB audio input.

Nope. You’ll have to go via your Mac’s firewire port.
