Decklink SDI audio output problem
I’m having a few issues on a brand new PC with a DL Extreme card, I can digitize clips using Decklink Deck Control through SDI (except I can’t hear audio coming in, see below). When I play back the clip on the PC, audio is present. However, when I use Decklink Deck Control and “Put” this clip back to tape, audio will not output to tape. While performing the “Put” function, I can see that the video insert button is lit up but none of the audio buttons are lit up, in essence, it’s just performing a video insert.
Also, not sure if this is related but I can’t hear audio on the tape through SPDIF if I have the Black Video Output set to SDI out. However, when I disable it, I can hear audio.
I’ve pretty much checked every setting/preference and still can’t figure it out. Hopefully someone can enlighten me on what else to try. In other words… Help!
By the way, if I crash record to tape and play back from Decklink Deck Control, audio and video is recorded to tape. Here’s my system specs:
HP xw4300 dual Pentium D 3.4GHz
Windows XP
4GB RAM
Decklink Extreme
Decklink Deck Control 5.6
600GB SCSI RAID
Sony Betacam SX DNW-A75Thanks!
