I’ve just finished building two new systems, both are Intel-based using Windows 7 Professional as an OS. One of the systems has a Decklink SDI PCI-e card in it and every time I shut it down and then re-start the computer, the Decklink card is not recognized either in the bios, nor on boot=up of Windows. If I move the card from one slot to another I can get the bios to recognize the card, but I don’t want to have to do this each and every time I start the system. I have swapped out several pieces of hardware that I think might be in conflict, like replacing a PNY GeForce GTS250 video card with an older Nvidia FX-1400 and pulling a PCI-X SATARaid card. Could it be an issue with the Decklink card itself or could it be software based?
