DeckLink Quad card x2 and SDK
Hello
I have a few questions about the DeckLink Quad card.
The card will be used to get 6 video signals into a computer. Inside the computer programs shall have access to all 6 channels, so you can send all 6 images onto a screen. It is up to the operator to choose the layout of the screen. The system must be very flexible, the operator can choose how many channels he will see at once.
Question:
Can you have two DeckLink Quad in a machine without making some trouble?
Can you through Blackmagics SDK access the inputs?
Is there anyone who has worked with such a set up before?Thank you in advance.

Hi,
We used one Quad and one Duo on a system and was able to capture all 6 channels with Metus Ingest. Worked beautiful.
Metus Ingest uses Low Level SDK of BMD Decklink.

When you write low level SDK. Do you mean that it is difficult to code or simple code?

are you planning some other functions or is multiviewing the main application ? It seems that you want to wite your own application. But if youre interested in an existing product (which has all above functions), take a look at:

It is for an interface where the operator, besides a lot of data, also can see the 6 video feeds and organize them as he wishes. -
Yes, means harder and need a lots of coding to do.
FYI, Metus ingest can also be used as muli-viewer screen also.
