Hi I’m climbing the walls here my new DeckLink Mini Monitor has audio but no Video.
I’m reinstalled the softwear several time.
Tried it in different PCIe slots.
Tried different HDMI cable and inputs on my monitor.
Video Setup is 1080P, the same as the source
Media Express and Avid Media Composer with play the audio out to my 1080P compatible monitor but no video.
The system recognised the card correctly in System Report.

Desktop Video 10.9.7, Avid Media Composer 8.9.0.46580
Mac OS Sierra, Mac Pro Mid 2010, ATI Radio HD 5870 1024 MB, D

Have you tried switching between different video standards to see if the monitor displays anything? Different frame rates? If the card is outputting a signal, the monitor might indicate the standard and framerate in the corner. If you monitor shows something similar, then you know the output from the card is working… Actually, for the fact that you can hear audio, you know the card is doing something. If HDMI works like SDI, the audio is embedded in the video stream. It’s possible that whatever part of the monitor that de-embeds the audio works independently of the video processing.

Yes, thanks have tried various formats, and I know for a fact that my monitor is fine with 1080P

I understand that, but can you see the monitor changing formats as you change the output settings on the Blackmagic card? Does it do anything besides produce audio?

check if you are working at 23.976 p or 23.976 psf. Depending on the interface, and where you are calling up the setting, this could trip you up.

Thanks to all who contributed, It turns out my monitor is not compatible with 25p.
Though I did somehow managed to get it working for a couple of days.
