  Decklink HD to SD downconvert’s color quality

  I have an excellent Sony CRT that I use for color correcting. Some HD material is coming my to color correct, and I’m curious to how much different this downconvert color is compared to viewing on an HD monitor.

  It looks fantastic to me, but I don’t know the lack or addition of saturation or hue that may occur.

  Honestly, if it’s a choice between my CRT SD and a LCD HD… I think I’m still ahead.

  Anyone at the Blackmagic team want to chime in.
