Decklink HD to Monitor
I am trying to set my edit suite up so I can use my HD monitor to see my work in real time. I’m using FCP 5 in the HDV mode. It was suggested that I get a Decklink HD card and use that to hook up my monitor. I got it this morning and it only has BNC type connectors on it and it says that they are SDI. My HD monitor only has Component, HDMI and S-Video inputs. Did I buy the wrong thing? Is there a solution or a better way to do this?

If you have the Decklink HD, there’s no analog outputs on it.
The Decklink HD Pro does have component analog out. So that would be one of your options. Another would be to go with a multibridge.
