I am trying to capture video from HDMI Sony Camera to Decklink HD Studio. I can’t get a signal in the decklink. Should I be using intesity drivers or the standard Decklink drivers? I am running an intel 2.66 Mac pro using the latest decklink drivers/ I tried just about every easy set up and I set my decklink prefs to use HDMI audio and video. Any help out there would be apprecited.

    Hi Justin,

Which Sony camera are you using? You must use DeckLink drivers with the DeckLink HD Studio. It is not possible to use Intensity drivers with it.

    Hi Thomas,

We’ve added support for the HDR-FX7 to the Intensity drivers but not yet to the DeckLink HD Studio drivers. We’re going to be looking at that over the next couple of weeks and so hopefully we’ll be able to add support within the coming month. We’ll know more soon.

I’m using the HDR-SR1. It’s one of those avchd with hdmi out. I bought the HD studio specifically for this reason.

I can not get a signal at all from it. Weird that the thousand dollar capture card does not support as many cameras as the intensity $250. Maybe they should have listed compatible cameras somewhere.
