DeckLink HD Pro- unstable SD signal out
Got a 2x2Ghz G5 with 3GB Ram and an HD Pro. Can’t seem to get a usable SD signal out. We just get light colored static for SD and dark colored static from what are supposed to be HD to SD downconverts. Any suggestions?

Hi Noah,
Can you provide more information:
1) Exact model of your G5. Is it a Dual Core G5 or Dual Processor G5? If it is a dual processor G5s, does it have PCI or PCI-X slots?
2) Version of DeckLink driver you have. If you’re not on the latest, download and install that and see if it’s still happening.
3) The make/model of the monitor you’ve connected the output to. Is it via component or SDI?
4) Any issues with HD monitoring?
5) Are you using hardware or software down conversion?
