    Created an MC6 project: 1080p/25

    When I select the project to load it, MC6 hangs and gives me an error message:

    AMEResourceManager::ReconfigHW_LegendBoB_play()
    Error [2147483656] unable to:
    SetVideoFormatBlk.

    This system has a BlackMagic Decklink HD Extreme for HDSDI monitoring.

    Any suggestions. I do not need the video out for this project. Is there a way to disable the hardware output of MC?

    Hi Chris,

    Which version of MC6 are you using and which version of the Blackmagic drivers?

    The latest update to MC6 allows you to switch off hardware support, however what you are describing doesn’t sound normal and I reckon should be fixable

    Hi I’m having some Avid issues regards this problem. How do you turn off the hardware support from within MC6?

    Hi Ken, the latest Avid update 6.03 allows you to easily switch between hardware and software modes.
