In aperture secondary viewer options are grayed out. What settings do I use? Connected by SDI to a Flanders monitor. Works fine with FCP X. Latest driver 9.9.3 and mavericks 10.9.1 and FCP X 10.1.

Mac Pro, macbook pro, Imacs (i7); Camcorders: Panasonic AG-HPX170/AG-HPX250P, Canon HV30/40, Sony Z7U, VX2000, PD170; FCP 6 certified; write professionally for a variety of media; teach video production in L.A.

AFAIK, Aperture has no Video Out capability and cannot make use of your BMD cards SDI
A secondary display can only be a conventional computer monitor connected to your graphics card via DVI, display port, etc.
