Decklink HD Extreme 3D+ don’t gives external preview in play in Final Cut
Hi evebody.
My Decklink Extreme show preview in a external broadcast monitor when the cursor is stoped, but when is playing the external preview continue stoped and just refresh the frame when I stop the play in timeline.
Can anybody help me please? -

Yup, that type of issue is normally a file/sequence mismatch.
As Paul says, make sure the Sequence settings and Playback settings match. The easiest way to do this is to take a look at the file you wanna use. Find the Blackmagic Easy Setup that matches frame size/rate and codec of the file. Then use that easy setup (start a new sequence) and it should work.

Yes, my timeline mach is correct. Is exact the same features of my video in play. But I discovered part of the problem.
To get a external play preview I needed set the timeline codec to the Blackmagic native. This solve the problem of external play, but I need to make a render preview every time in all files to get this.
Today, the most of time, the video files that come for me, is from a card and normally the app transfer just convert for the native codecs or Apple proress code. Today, no one more use capture image from a type. So when I go tranfers my files from cards (XDCAM TRANSFER, LOG AND TRANSFER e etc) I have no option of the BlackMagic codec. I just can chosse native or apple proress. So if I need to make a render preview every time I’ll lost much time.
Is there some solution for this or will I always need to make a render preview?
