First off, is it possible to record just the audio stream from an HDMI source with video+audio streams? If not, what are the disk speed requirements for compressed video capture with uncompressed six or eight LPCM of 1920x1080p59.94 and 1280x1470p59.94 video? I do not care how bad the video looks to be honest (I would want to use lowest bit-rate setting possible for video) as long as the audio portion remains at full quality.

Also, does the DeckLink HD Extreme 3D+ work with adobe premiere or virtualdub? If so, are additional compressed codecs available while still having the ability to support for up to eight channel LPCM?

This is the hard-drive I have. Would it be enough for what I outlined above? If not, please recommend one.
