Has anyone used this setup…seems like a much more cost effective solution than the AJA IO LA/Kona 2 Setup. Any idea if the drivers conflict?

The AJA IO works through the firewire port. One normally wouldn’t need a Decklink or a Kona with it. However, I think the IO is neat how it works over firewire and all, but you can get almost everything the IO offers with a Decklink Extreme by itself. And you won’t have to waste your firewire bandwidth. I’d reccomend the IO fo someone with a Powerbook or a MacMini. If you have PCI-X slots, use them instead.
