    Decklink Extreme vs. Kona LS

    I am about to pick up a standard def capture card and was wondering how these two compared. They appear to have basically the same I/O interface, so I’m more interested in reliability and performance. Also, will both generate media files that can be read on PC and Mac?

    BTW – This is for a Dual 2.5GHz G5 running FCP 5 with Medea 480 RTS on an Atto UL3D.
