    Hello all,
I’m new to Premiere Pro. I’m working with PR Pro 3.2 and Decklink Extreme 6.7.1 on a Mac Pro. I have a time line created with uncompressed 8bit 4:2:2 video that plays just fine. I am adding in some basic white titles on a black background from PSD. The PSD files are 720×480 at 72 ppi. I’ve tried both square and 0.9 pixel aspect ratios. I import the files by dragging them from the desktop into the project window as footage. After placing them in the timeline I try to play that section and PR Pro crashes after a short visit from the spinning color wheel.

I appreciate any suggestions to try and track down the cause of this issue.

I will be recreating all of these PSD files in the PR Pro titler but I will need to import PSD files on other projects.

    Thanks,
    Jay

So, I’m attempting to recreate these simple titles in the titler and I’m getting the same results. I create the title, insert into the timeline and try to play it and it crashes. sigh. please help.

OK, so I’m having luck bringing in the PSD files as sequences and placing them in the timeline as a sequence. This seems odd to me. Any thoughts?
