    Hi guys.
I did read the decklink extreme features, and look like it the HDTV to Sd downconversion it’s only for MAC OSX.

But, what about a decklink extreme PCIe running in a recommended dualcore station?
I would be able to playback an HDTV sequence in adobe premiere pro downconverted to SD

I got thie text from here: https://www.blackmagic-design.com/press/detail.asp?pressID=66

At only US$895 for the quality of uncompressed 10 bit SDI video, full component analog or NTSC/PAL video, with HDTV playback to SD and real time effects, everyone can afford to upgrade to Blackmagic DeckLink Extreme.

    It’s that true?

    Thanks in advance
    Bernardo

Does the decklink Extreme capture HD video or just downconvert it to one of the outputs on the breakout cable?
