Decklink Extreme (non HD) downconversion of XDCAM
Hi,
Just bought an xdcam ex1 and I’m not set up for HD monitoring but would like to monitor via sd downconversion.
Software downconversion from the card seems poor. Also it doesn’t seem to make any difference when I set it to anamorphic, it always gives letterbox…
Can someone advise on settings to get the best quality anamorphic downconvert?

Yippee, just to answer my own question I needed to set the output to HDTV (not 10 bit pal as I had it),
sudden clarity…If anyone cares to add further I’m open to learning
