Mac Pro Quad core 3Ghz Xeon, 5 GB Ram, 4 Internal drives(system + 3 750 GB extras). Running all latest software updates, etc. System was working fine with FCP for about two hours. Then we restarted- now Decklink doesn’t show up at all. Tried running Slot Utility- shows up there but then does not appear to FCP, Profiler or System Prefs. Any help greatly appreciated.

    Hi Noah,

Can you please try the DeckLink card in slot 4 (top slot) and select the second profile from the Expansion Slot Utility. That might help but it does seem odd that it was working fine and then “disappeared”. Did anything about the software or hardware configuration of your Mac change between the time all was working fine and when it stopped working?

Thanks Luke- we managed to figure it out. A PRAM reset with command-option P R did the trick. It also cleared up an odd graphical glitch displayed during startup. This is a brand new machine BTW.
