  Decklink Extreme Card Fan

  I have a circa 2008 or 9 Decklink Extreme that has a bad fan. Our engineering already reached out to BMD and they were kind enough to ship us a new fan. My question is; with the card with the bad fan installed in a Mac Pro, the fans were running at a high speed. Is that the Decklink talking to the Mac’s SMC, or was the MacPro just hotter inside?
