    Hi,
I got new Decklink HD plus, I installed it on out of box hp machine, when I install driver (v. 6.7.2) it is going pretty well until I reboot the machine, then the system doesn’t won’t to boot (windows xp) so I have to choose boot to last working configuration and then the card is not recognized again. so basicly I’m going in the circle. any suggestions?

    Thanks.

    ps.
I also tried to use driver v. 5.7.3, same scenario

You have to adjust some setup settings.

    Hi Alena

As mentioned in the previous post by Pentti, it may be something as simple as your motherboard settings that are causing trouble. Which HP machine do you have?

Please follow the advice in tech note 172 as mentioned. These BIOS settings can identify our card as having sent an error message (it hasn’t), and therefore interrupt the boot process.

Please also check the Decklink minimum specifications for Windows as mentioned here:

You may well have to remove your Decklink card in order to complete some of these changes, as it will allow your machine to boot properly.
