  Decklink Card – HDMI output really, really sharp.

  Hi guys, tell me what I’m doing wrong here.

  I’m using an HP dreamcolor (z24x) display as the monitor for Resolve. I’ve tried two ways to connect it:
  Decklink card –> direct HDMI out from the back –> my HDMI monitor port.
  Decklink card –> SDI out –> Mini converter –> HDMI signal to monitor port.

  In both situations, the image I’m seeing on the screen is weirdly, sharp. I’m getting combing, almost. The same display shown in my software monitor (whether in premiere or resolve) looks smooth and normal.

  What is the best path to use a standard (non SDI) monitor in this way? Am I doing something wrong here?
