    Hello,

Has anyone had issues with the lastest DeckLink 5.6.2 drivers for the AJA Kona SD card? Currently i’ve just installed tiger 10.4.7, FCP 5.1.1, Quicktime 7.1.2. and am about to install the lastest drivers. but before I do that I was just checking to see if it’s for the most part stable.

    Thank you in advance, Ian

    Hi Ian,

If you’re using a Kona SD , DO NOT upgrade to 5.6.2. Embarrassing enough, support for Kona SD was left out. This is an oversight which we will address in a driver update. You need to use the v5.6 drivers which you can find here:

I did the 5.6 drivers as you suggested and I can’t get any playback to my monitor or Digibeta. It simply just gives me freeze frames on the monitor. i’m not sure if this is related to the drivers or if it’s my Kona SD card? I checked to make sure view all frames was on, rendered everything including my audio, restart, trashed my prefs, and did a premissions repair. still nothing nada zip so any help would be great.

    thanks again in advance, Ian
