To continue Joe Owen’s original post on the issue Decklink 4K issue last May… I’m wondering if there has been any further development towards using the Decklink 4K card for 4K monitoring with Resolve over quad 3G-SDI. Both NEC, Barco and Christie have decided that quad 3G SDI is the protocol that will feed their new 4K DLP projectors and the input cards are under development for release (supposedly) in a few months.

Wondering if anyone from BMD could comment about this?

As has Sony for their 56″ 4K monitor, I believe…

I was hoping they would announce support for the 4K card along with the 8.1 release but I don’t see it mentioned anywhere. They also don’t appear to be shipping it yet, though at one point they did label it on the website for September.

To get everything advertised with the 4K card, they would also have to enable XYZ color spaces on non-linux versions.

But yeah, curious to hear from BMD about this configuration.
