  Deck Link conversion

  We are currently editing HDV with Cineform’s Aspect HD with good success. However the pixel format is 1440 X 1080. How can I use this video with a DeckLink uncompressed project? Specifically:

  1. Can I just use the 1920 X 1080 analog component output from the Sony Z1 and dig that format with a DeckLink card?

  2. Assuming I can do no. 1 above what about deck control? (Blackbox to convert 422 control to fire control?)

  3. What does DeckLink’s term Dual Link mean? Do I have to have two PCI-X Decklink cards straped together to do a downconvert from a 1080i project to 4:3 standard def?
