  Deck doesn’t stop on timecode in capture mode

  I was capturing a tape using a JVC BR-DV600U deck (which Premiere has listed in its 1394 control), but every time I went to type in a specific timecode for the tape to jump to, the deck would overshoot it and keep going.

  For example, if I was at 00;01;00;00 and wanted to go to 00;05;00;00, the deck would start fast-forwarding, but once it got to 00;05;00;00 it would just keep on going.

  Same thing if you try to go to a timecode prior to where you’re currently at.

  Does this sound like a problem with my deck, or is this an issue with Premiere?
