We’re trying to set our college’s mac lab and am looking for a list of decks that FCP will control. We’re considering the dsr-11 but would like some other options. I looked in FCP but there isn’t a specific list per se. Thanks, Ralph

FCP should control any deck using the Firewire, if you have the requisite hardware then it has no problem using the RS422 protocol either.

DSR-11 is a standard workhorse with FCP. Pretty much any Firewire deck will work with FCP and of course anything with RS-422 should work as well.

Actually, there is a list, although it’s far from complete, and a lot of devices that are known to work are no longer listed for some reason.
