Deck Connections
I have an Avid Media Composer with a Mojo SDI. It’s hooked up to a Sony UVW-1800 with the component connections. The display on the deck keeps saying No REF! and my monitor can’t keep the picture in alignment. Obviously it’s out of sync but how or what do I need to fix this problem?

Your deck has given you your answer. It needs a reference signal. I’m afraId I don’t know your kit, but the deck should have a BNC connection marked “ref”. If your mojo has a ref out then simply hook the two up. If not then you’ll need a black burst generator to generate a reference signal.

You have only hooked up audio and video and have not hooked up your black burst yet.
