Deceleration
Posted by Dave Tavernier on April 20, 2005 at 3:24 pmIn version 9, is there an easy way to decelerate an objects motion so that it stops with a smooth motion at the end keyframe without slamming to a stop?

April 20, 2005 at 9:27 pmopen the FCurve manager and apply an ease out to the keyframe where it stops (or tweek the curve by hand to get exactly the rate you want)

April 22, 2005 at 1:53 amin timeline, right click on your object, select:new track/time
select the position lines (or ALT select just one – X,Y or Z), and drag your new time track into the attributes.
in FCurves open the TIME TRACK and you’ll see a linear time progression, adjust interpolations. Add keyframes if you want the time to “bounce” etc.IQ
