  Debugging possible with ESTK?

  Can anyone give me or direct me to a brief tutorial on how to debug expressions with After Effects? I found and downloaded ESTK, but I can’t get it to work. When I paste the code in, it tells me that the Function comp is undefined on the first line (which is this):
  “L = comp(“Final Animation”).layer(“cyclist1″);”

  Ideally, I’d love to have it spit out the values of variables as I move through the project, but I have no idea how to make them talk to each other. (I’ve also tried $.writeln(variable);, but It’s not sending the values to ESTK. Either that, or I don’t know where to look for the output).

  Can anyone offer any insight into this?
