It’s pretty big, actually. Too big to email.

Have a great New Year’s Eve!

I can send you FTP information if you like. How big is it exactly?

    Happy New Year!

The file is 16 MB. I would have tried emailing it but I couldn’t find your address.

I can receive 16 MB files if your email provider is capable of sending them. Also, because XML is not very efficient in terms of storage space, it’s likely that it will be significantly smaller once zipped up.

I have just written a note to that link you gave. The project is less than 1 MB now that I zipped it.
    Best regards,

I fixed the project file but I’m very confused by the parts that were causing the errors.

I was expecting the parameters causing the errors to be immediately obvious upon first glance. This wasn’t the case. I managed to narrow them down by trial and error and they seem to be completely random.

The curious part is that the values didn’t appear to matter – I changed them to 0 and it still wouldn’t import. The only way to get the project to import is to comment out that parameter and all others following it.

Here’s a few of the problematic lines (corrupt parameters commented out):

Line 45807 (inside a Scale filter):

Line 45865 (inside a Rotation filter):

Line 46362 (inside a Speed filter):

Line 49258 (inside an Opacity filter):

Line 49338 (inside a Position filter):

Line 49361 (inside a Scale filter):

Line 49582 (inside an Opacity filter):

Line 49738 (inside an Opacity filter):

Line 49892 (inside an Opacity filter):

Line 50048 (inside an Opacity filter):

The curious part is that that actual value doesn't appear to matter. I can change it to 0 and it still fails to import.

I'm posting this here in the hopes that someone else, an Adobe developer perhaps, can shed some light on them.

Thank you very much for all your efforts, Jon. I’ve started the project all over again (luckily I wasn’t very far into it) but I hope it doesn’t happen again because then it might be nearer the end… brrr.

    Best regards,
    Vasco

    Hi Jon,

A thousand apologies for not realizing immediately what you had done. Somehow I missed the fact that you had actually corrected the project and only noticed today as I sat to work on the fresh start. In my foolishness I thought you had written it off. You have saved me days of tedious labor and the frustration of trying to remember how I did what the first time.

This Digital Rebellion tool works miracles! Is there no way it can be used in Windows?

Once again, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
    Vasco

    Hey,
How exactly was this problem fixed? Is this a fix anyone can do on their own. I am having the same problem and I have been working on this music video for over a month! I would greatly appreciate any help!
