Right now my workflow is to sync in PluralEyes, bring the sequence into CC, nest it, and make it a multicam sequence.

The problem with this workflow is that my audio becomes a single track nest. I’ve been told this is CC works with nesting, but I know if I do a CC “Sync by Audio”. let’s say, there are options to have all of my audio tracks show up un-nested on the timeline.

So this nesting business is a bit of a mystery to me. I’m used to AVID where you can lay out your mono audio clips, label each individually, and then group them together with your cameras.

(The reason I’m not using CC “Sync by Audio” is because it seems to not work about 15% of the time. Takes a 2-camera shoot and jumbles together all sorts of takes into a 4+ camera group. Running the latest 7.2.2 and have given up trying to get it to work. PluralEyes 3.1.1 DOES work though)
