    Hi All…

I haven’t done a lot of this yet. The little I have was under CS3 before the Media Browser panel.

As all these formats now require an entire folder structure to behave properly, what’s the procedure for copying multiple cards to a hard drive?

Is the folder group on the card already inside a unique folder? So you can just copy that folder to your media folder. Do you have to create your own subfolders? If so, how do spanned clips find each other once copied to your hard drive?

Further, on the Windows and drive letter based platform, it was difficult to relink stuff after moving a project with all these subfolders when drive letters change, because PPro doesn’t necessarily look in all the sub folders for related material. At least under CS3 it didn’t

Has this changed? How do people deal with this?

I had read Executive Producer (Execuctive Producer Gold) let’s you “Even combine P2
clips from various cards to save as a new P2 Volume!”

    This might help.

    Feedback is appreciated as always.

    Thanks,

    Alex
