I really won’t need the supplier to assist you with support as non will be given by most of the suppliers selling this caliber of camera. Sony will give you a respectable warranty and you have already found this forum which is your best source for continual support. Plan on purchasing one of the many DVD’s to help you get started. I like Doug Jensen’s Vortex DVD.

I know that BH Video isn’t in LA, but I live in Florida and I purchase 99% of my gear there. They’ve always given me good support, pricing, and answered even the lamest question I could come up with, patiently.

I bought 5 grand worth of equipment a few months back, had it a week, it didn’t meet my needs, I returned everything with no problems or hassles.

They have free shipping on these cameras. I also have the Vortex video & their field guide. Sony has a rebate which will give you the field guide for free if you buy the camera by the end of this month.
