I have dead audio meters. It’s sad. I hear audio. I capture audio. I just don’t see audio. I am running through an AJA IO that I am not intimately familiar with yet. The meters are only dead when the Log & Capture window is open. Once I capture a clip and place it in the timeline, the levels start bouncing around again like nothing is wrong. Sure enough though when I re-open the Log and Capture window and start playing the tapes, I get no siganl from the meters. What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks

When in Log & Capture, under the clip settings, open up the waveform and vector scope tab and POOF! the meters will show up.

Well that solution worked. I am not sure why, but it worked and I thank you. The aduio meters were always there, but were just not responding until I turned on the waverforms and scopes.

    Thanks

    Correct. That’s how AJA works.
